We had our first real rain last night.

The hummingbirds as well as the butterflies are happy to see their flowers revived.

I love gardenias and am sorry they have finished blooming for the year.

Spain Park Lake

Our plein air group spent today painting at this park. It was a typical hot and humid day with the temperature at 91. A Great Blue Heron was trying to fish among the Canada geese. I did see make one catch.
